About
Keiron Jackman was the Associate Editor of the Brevard Political Journal and is currently a political contributor to the Ed Dean Radio Show, prior to becoming Chief Political Columnist for his own blog on WordPress.
At the Brevard Political Journal he wrote three articles a month on state and local government, campaigns and public policy. He always strove to find the truth in the politics and took every opportunity to be a pragmatic republican. He believes a true republican respects former president Lincoln, and is not opposed to good social programs, taxes, and ensuring the public good through government intervention.
He is a graduate from the University of Florida with a bachelors in Political Science. Since his graduation he began his political career with an internship working as a legislative aide for the then Florida state representative Thad Altman, now a state senator. Shortly after his internship he began serving as the Deputy Campaign Manager for Rep. Thad Altman’s reelection. The experienced he gained working under his campaign manager, Tres Holton, contributed to his success in managing campaigns and electing several republicans throughout the Central Florida region.
Jackman, who has a substantial background in nuclear engineering, also served as the Government Affairs Officer for the National Environmental Science and Technology Park, working to promote alternative energy, intellectual property transfer, education and environmental conservation. He is a strong advocate of nuclear power and pledges to work until every one of the fifty states in the union has at least one nuclear power plant.
He intends to, in the mean time, speak on the social issues that affect the republican party and the political happenings of the day.
Every Friday you can listen to Keiron live. Hear him talk politics and social issues on the Ed Dean Radio Show. He is a political analyst and contributor. The Ed Dean Radio Show airs live M-F 2-4 pm Eastern and is broadcast live on http://www.eddeanradio.com
